(WBAP/KLIF) – Senator John Cornyn and Congressman Michael Burgess have called for more clarification from the Department of State and Centers for Disease Control on travel alerts ahead of the summer Olympics.
The issue is the Zika virus and the possibility several Americans getting infected abroad could bring the virus to mosquitoes in the United States.
The two lawmakers write that there is no question it will be expensive to fight.
They want a response by the end of the month.
