GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF) – Another case of a child being left in a hot car. The latest, a two-year-old girl in Grand Prairie.
A grandmother was babysitting the child and took her along for some shopping. They stopped at a mall near Highway 360 and Camp Wisdom Road in Grand Prairie.
The woman told police she went in and visited two stores before remembering the little girl was still in the car. She rushed outside and called 911.
Paramedics were able to revive the victim. She’s at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth and is expected to survive.
