(WBAP/KLIF News) Britain’s choosing to leave the European Union is stirring up desires among some Texans to have the state secede from the U.S. Daniel Miller is president of the Texas Nationalist Movement and he explains the sentiment by comparing the similarities between Texas and Britain. He says both entities are tired of being governed by bureaucrats that voters didn’t elect who are enforcing unwanted policies. Miller says the U.S. federal government has supported rights of self-determination for countries all over the world, and that the same should be considered for the Lone Star State.
