DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman said her Labrador-mix was killed by a loose dog while she was walking in old East Dallas.
Ashley Rice and her 11-year-old dog “Clyde” were on their typical morning stroll along Columbia Avenue in the Junius Heights Neighborhood.
She said a stray dog ran up and attacked Clyde. He died.
Dallas Animal Services is investigating.
The city has been working on a plan to deal with strays since a Fair Park area woman was killed in May and another woman was attacked last week in Oak Cliff.
