AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF News) The 5 Dallas police officers killed in last week’s attack will be honored tomorrow at the State Capitol. The vigil will be exactly one week after the downtown shooting. 3,000 blue candles will be lit and the Austin police bagpipe and drum corps will play. The police union said it decided to hold the event after an outpouring of requests from activists, officers and politicians. The event takes place at the Texas Peace Officer Memorial at State Capitol grounds at 8:30 pm.
