Euless teacher arrested for child molesting

Euless (WBAP/KLIF) – A middle school teacher in Euless has been arrested for sexual assault of a child. Euless Junior High teacher Cornelis Smith surrendered to the Tarrant County Sheriff Friday after admitting he impregnated the unidentified 15 year old girl. Smith was the girl’s speech teacher during the last school year. He told police their relationship began over last year’s Christmas break, then became physical in February of this year.
