Cullen Davis victorious in civil suit

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The man who once may have been Fort Worth’s best known resident has been found not guilty of negligence in a civil trial arising from a 2013 traffic accident. 82 year old Cullen Davis was sued by Jennifer McGriff for rear-ending her car. Her car sustained about $500 in damage. She claimed she suffered severe pain as a result of the collision. It took the jury about 20 minutes to reject her suit. Davis was in the international spotlight in the 1970’s when he was accused of killing two people. He was found not guilty in one case. The other didn’t go to trial.
