ANNA (WBAP/KLIF News) – Someone has been shooting at random drivers on Highway 5 in Anna.
Police said the shots are likely coming from a high-powered pellet gun, but they still can be a matter of life and death.
One driver’s car was struck between the driver’s side door handle and window, just inches away from piercing the window and hitting him.
Another person had a pellet go through the window, seatbelt and into the backseat.
Investigators said the shots are likely coming from someone hiding in the tree line along the main highway.
