DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Three kids were found in a hot van in northwest Dallas.
Police said the driver, Manuel Vasquez, 26, was found by officers in the driver’s seat with a glass pipe, a burnt green substance and a lighter on his lap.
The engine was off and one window was cracked, according to police.
Vasquez told officers he had used synthetic marijuana, known as K2, and he admitted that he had become addicted to the drug.
He also told police he had just picked the kids up from daycare to take them to 7-11 for some slurpees.
The children were checked out by paramedics and were okay.
Vasquez is charged with three counts of endangering a child.
