PANTEGO (WBAP/KLIF) – Police in Pantego have filed charges against a father who left his 10 month old daughter inside his vehicle Wednesday
25 year old Jonathan Ballard faces a charge of abandoning or endangering a child through negligence.
First responders were called to Ballard’s job around 11 o’clock Wednesday morning.
When they arrived Ballard and his wife had taken the baby out of the vehicle and brought her inside.
She was red faced and had an elevated body temperature, but was okay. She was taken to Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth and released the same day.
Police say she was in the vehicle for 30-40 minutes.
