GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF News) – When some students in the Grapevine-Colleyville School District start back on Monday, they will be drinking bottled water.
Elevated levels of lead were found in a water fountain and sink at OC Taylor Elementary School, and a baseball concession stand sink at Grapevine High School.
Lead testing was conducted at facilities built before 1989.
Additional tests will be conducted at Taylor. A water filtration system that reduces lead levels will be installed.
