DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas-based Southwest Airlines has announced a tentative agreement with the pilots union.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Van de Ven said they appreciate the pilots and recognize their role in the company’s success.
He said in a statement the agreement balanced the needs of the pilots and the company.
Negotiating committees will work out the final language.
The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association represents about 8,000 pilots.
