ALEDO (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Aledo Independent School District will break ground on a new elementary school on Wednesday morning.
The school will sit on the site of Walsh Ranch, near the merge of I-20 and I-30.
It’ll be the district’s fifth elementary school.
Aledo hopes to open the school next fall.
The area around the school is open land, but developers at Walsh Ranch plan to build 15,000 homes over the next several years.
