Plano (WBA)/KLIF) – Metroplex motorists are warned to avoid the Dallas North Tollway in Plano this weekend. The NTTA says it will be completely closed both Saturday and Sunday from state highway 190 to state highway 121. The closure will allow work crews time to partially demolish the cross-over bridge at Tennyson Parkway. Engineers stress the work cannot be safely performed while traffic passes below. The service roads will be open, but are almost certain to be extremely crowded. The Tollway should be open to traffic again by 5:00 o’clock Monday morning. However the same stretch of Tollway will have to be shutdown next weekend as well to finish the demolition.
