Creative Arts Theater and School closing

Arlington (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington’s Creative Arts Theater and School will hold its final performances today (Sunday). The children’s theater was founded in 1978. It was burned out of its original home almost exactly four years ago, and hasn’t found a permanent site since. Its Board of Directors says it’s been operating at a loss for some time because of declining enrollment, donations, and grants combined with low ticket sales, so it had no alternative but to close its doors permanently.
