UNIVERSITY PARK (WBAP/KLIF) – Fire destroyed the legendary Goff’s Hamburgers in University Park Friday afternoon.
Fire Chief Randy Howell says they received help from Highland Park and Dallas Fire Rescue and the heat made it hard for them to fight the blaze.
“When you’ve got 100-degree plus temperatures, you can only rotate firefighters through for a short period of time,” Howell said.
Investigators will be back at the scene over the weekend to try and determine what caused the blaze.
