DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A teenager who police said hit and killed a couple in Dallas will be arrested as soon as she’s released from the hospital.
The crash happened on Labor Day at the intersection of Hampton Road and Ledbetter Drive.
Investigators said the teen ran a red light and slammed into the passenger side of Julio Lopez’s car. He and his wife, Hilda Torres, died. They leave behind four children.
Police are looking into claims the girl was street racing at the time of the crash.
