DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas launched a new meter pay service for parking this week.
Parkmobile allows parkers to be alerted by their phone when time is running out and gives them the option to put more money on the meter.
Parkmobile’s Tina Dyer says they are a growing business in Texas.
“We recently launched in Fort Worth, Texas last year,” said Dyer. She also said they are up in Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christi and San Antonio.
The service links with law enforcement so if a parker buys additional time the enforcement officer will have that information.
Parkers can either register at www.parkmobile.com or download the smartphone app.
