DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) The president’s arrival at the Meyerson Symphony Center has secret service agents busy in Dallas today. Obama will be here for the memorial honoring 5 fallen officers in last week’s shooting. The process will be a bit more active with both the president and vice president in town. Tom McDade, a former secret service agent who served from the Nixon administration through the Clinton administration, says having them both in the same place requires coordinating two separate details. The Arlington police department will be spearheading security since it’s been several long days and nights for the Dallas P.D. Our live coverage of the event will begin this afternoon at 12:30 pm.
