Addison (WBAP/KLIF) – One of the country’s most respected 4th of July fireworks shows takes place tonight in Addison. They call it “Kaboom Town,” and Addison has been hosting it for more than three decades. It’s centered at the city’s Circle Park, but the fireworks are visible from almost everywhere within the city limits. It’s known as a great show and a great party, so it draws a great crowd. Traffic anywhere near Addison will be affected from about mid-afternoon until midnight or so. The carnival, concerts, and other events begin at 5:00 o’clock. The fireworks start about 9:30 PM.
